SMVT Bengaluru-Kamakhya AC Express, Odisha Train Accident: ओडिसा राज्यात पुन्हा एकदा रेल्वे अपघात (Odisha Train Accident) झाला आहे. कटकजवळ एसएमव्हीटी बंगळुरू-कामाख्या एसी एक्स्प्रेसचे अकरा डब्बे रुळावरून घसरले आहेत. अपघातावेळी जीव वाचविण्यासाठी प्रवाशांनी डब्बांमधून उड्या मारल्या आहेत. या मार्गावरील सर्व रेल्वे गाड्या रद्द करण्यात आल्या आहेत. या रेल्वे अपघातामध्ये प्रवासी सुरक्षित आहे. आतापर्यंत जीवितहानी झालेली माहिती मिळू शकलेली नाही.

ही घटना रविवारी सकाळी पावणे बारा वाजण्याच्या सुमारास घडली. पूर्व किनारी रेल्वेच्या खउर्दा रोड विभागाच्या कटक-नारगुंडी रेल्वे विभागात घडली. एसएमव्हीटी बेंगळुरू- कामाख्या एसी सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस 12551 ही बंगळुरूहून गुवाहाटीला जात असताना हा अपघात झाला.घटनेची माहिती मिळताच रेल्वेचे पथक घटनास्थळी पोहोचले आणि मदत आणि बचाव कार्य सुरू केले आहे.
